When potential candidates web search your organization do the results answer one pivotal question... Why should they pursue employment with your organization?
You require an identity that radiates:
Credibility, Relevance, Distinction, Cohesion & Authenticity.
Having a strong employer brand will help you attract and engage top level candidates, rather than discovering that they were drawn to or working for your competitors. A strong employer brand is also paramount to building the high-caliber talent resources and core capabilities that will drive growth and retain right-fit talent.
What's Your Employer Brand?
As the fight for top talent rages on, leading employers are finding that employment branding is an increasingly important function of talent acquisition and retention.
By developing an effective and unique brand as an employer, companies find it is easier to attract better and more qualified candidates, as well as advance and retain them.
Out of more than 100 respondents at organizations of all sizes, 80 percent consider their employer branding to be successful — bringing down costs, increasing applications from top candidates, and making them top of mind as employers of choice. Even more interesting is that 91 percent of smaller companies found their project to be successful, even though they had lower budgets. At least 58 percent of the time, employer branding research led to changes in social media strategy, career sites, recruiters’ toolkits, and recruitment advertising. Even the lowest-scoring categories, such as diversity messaging and benefit communications, changed at least 15 percent of the time. -ERE Media, December 2014
